SPARK 2021 Virtual Event Strategy & Production
What does the future of genomic healthcare look like?
That’s one of the questions that Illumina – a leader in life science and human genome technology — wanted to answer at their second annual ideas forum, SPARK presented by Illumina.
SPARK has always championed the notion of “further, faster, together” but 18 tumultuous months of surveilling and fighting a global pandemic turned out to be the proof point of what is possible when the scientific and healthcare communities unite towards a common goal.
SPARK 2021 shined a light on this global collaboration and brought together some of the brightest minds in the industry. We hosted five thought-leader spotlight sessions and five content-focused discussions about the learnings from the past year and how they can be applied to creating a more equitable future in healthcare. Famous individuals such as Bill Gates and successful rapper, writer and actor Common, helped to inspire and empower our audience, and our conversation lounges provided opportunities for networking and further discussion.
With over 9,000 registrants and an engaged audience each day reaching 3,700 active participants, the event brought professionals in genomics, healthcare, technology, government, academia and others together to unveil the future of healthcare and all of the wonderous possibilities that can occur when the industry and its affiliates collaborate and innovate together.
