Seasoned Healthcare Experts Join Jack Morton’s Expanding Healthcare Practice; Company Promotes and Hires other Key Individuals
BOSTON, MA, OCTOBER 20, 2022- Jack Health, the specialist healthcare practice within global brand experience agency Jack Morton, announces several new hires to its strategy and client services teams in the U.S. and promotions across global management, business development, and creative.
Since its launch in March 2021, Jack Health has grown the agency’s healthcare revenue by 55% with a mix of work from new and existing clients. Today, the practice names Jamey Hardesty as SVP, Senior Director of Strategy, and Sohini Mitra as SVP, Director of Client Services. Dr. Jayaram Daggumati, a clinical strategist and pharmacist, joins as Healthcare Content Strategist, and Becky Dreps, Account Director, rounds out the new additions.

Hardesty boasts a distinguished background as a healthcare strategist and client relationship manager. With more than ten years in pharmaceutical and healthcare marketing, including rare, oncology, and breakthrough treatments such as cell and gene therapy, he is an expert in leveraging complex science, data, and regulatory acumen to tell compelling patient and HCP stories. Hardesty previously served as Client Success Manager at Be The Match BioTherapies, a cell and gene therapy biopharma. Before that role, he held strategy and medical director posts on the agency side with Eversana and Fingerpaint. He has a Master of Public Health in Hospital & Molecular Epidemiology from the University of Michigan and a bachelor’s degree in microbiology and molecular genetics from Michigan State.
Mitra brings over 20 years of experiential marketing and branding expertise to Jack Health. She previously held roles in senior leadership and account management at agencies such as Impact XM and Sparks. Mitra’s expertise spans medical device and pharmaceutical clients such as Boston Scientific, Salix Pharmaceuticals, Skinceuticals, and Preventice Solutions. She also has experience executing medical and scientific meetings, and congresses for large healthcare associations such as AAAAI and ASHI. Mitra will drive client service and expansion plans for the agency’s most prominent healthcare clients in her new role.
Jayaram Daggumati, PharmD, RPh, BCMAS comes to Jack Health with experience from Haymarket Media where his role as a Clinical Strategist leading medical strategy initiatives for clients, requires him to demonstrate a depth of understanding of multiple products and disease states. Dr. Daggumati brings extensive insights to Jack Health from first-hand experience in patient intervention and treatment. A board-certified medical affairs specialist (BCMAS), Dr. Daggumati is a practicing registered pharmacist (RPh) in retail and clinical settings. He graduated with a Doctor of Pharmacy degree from Massachusetts College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences.
Becky Dreps joins Jack Health as an account director. Dreps has extensive experience in the industry and formerly worked at healthcare branding agency HCB Heath on clients such as Alcon, Glaukos, Obagi, and Aurion Biotech.
In addition, Jack Health announces:
- Nigel Downer, MBA, is elevated to SVP, Head of Growth & Partnerships. He will continue to focus on business development and building relationships across the IPG agency ecosystem and steward Jack Health’s increased focus on thought leadership and industry associations.
- Jo Hull is promoted to SVP, Director of Jack Health EMEA. Hull leads Jack Health in the region overall. She drives critical healthcare accounts, including Sanofi, BMS, UCB and AstraZeneca.
- Amy Gattoni, HMCC, who joined in early 2022 as the Jack Health lead in Boston in a strategy and account hybrid role, has been promoted to Senior Account Manager. Within the first year, Gattoni has made a significant impact driving the Boston healthcare business. Her healthcare meeting compliance certification provides fluency to navigate the regulatory environment for pharma, biotech, and other medical meetings.
- Camryn Schaap advances to Associate Art Director after playing a key role developing an extensive marketing tool kit for Jack Health in its first year.
