Jack Morton’s new healthcare practice expands to support explosive growth

BOSTON, Mass. – September 22, 2021 – Jack Health, the specialist healthcare practice within global brand experience agency Jack Morton, announced today the expansion of its senior team across client services, strategy, creative, and business development. Erin Abbott, Allison Beck, Jimmy Doucette, and Nigel Downer join the healthcare marketing practice as it celebrates six months since its launch in early 2021.

Jack Health delivers customized marketing programs to support clients looking to strengthen relationships with patients, healthcare professionals (HCPs), and employees. Programs are purpose-built to prove a brand’s promise at critical touchpoints and designed to make complex subjects more human in one of the most highly regulated industries. To date, the practice has experienced significant growth, adding six new clients to its roster and dozens of new assignments from brands including Bayer, Allergan, AstraZeneca and EQRX, the disruptive pharmaceutical company.  The team will work alongside Melinda Lindland, SVP, Head of Jack Health, U.S., spearheading the practice’s growth.

To support its flourishing business, the practice has made the following appointments to the Jack Health team:

Erin Abbott is promoted to SVP, Group Account Director, and as such, she’ll take on the role of client service lead for Jack Health. In this role, Abbott will focus on growing business and maintaining best-in-class relationships across accounts. Based in Chicago, Abbott oversees some of the largest healthcare accounts in the Jack Health portfolio. She has over 15 years’ experience supporting pharmaceutical product launches and brands across a variety of marketing channels. In the last few years, she has overseen more than 30 large activations and critical rollouts.

Allison Beck is promoted to VP, Senior Creative Director.  Beck will shape the creative vision for the practice and help lead the development of bold and innovative experiences for its stable of brands. Additionally, she will continue to lead the creative on Jack’s largest pharmaceutical client for whom she has creatively led over 50 programs over the last three years.

Jimmy Doucette joins the agency as VP, Strategy.  Doucette will lead research, portfolio strategy, and category insight development for the practice. He previously held a senior position at Access TCA and has ten years of experience across experiential, advertising, and digital marketing. He brings a wealth of expertise in meetings and conferences, exhibit programs and healthcare congresses. Doucette has worked with clients including Biogen, Gilead, and GSK/TESARO and has led over 12 key product launches in neurology, oncology, and HIV.

Nigel Downer, VP of growth and partnerships, will now focus on building the Jack Health brand. In his new role, Downer will continue building relationships with health and wellness clients and the IPG and IPG DXTRA healthcare community. Downer is also the practice’s principal point of collaboration within DXTRA Health.
